Why:

A public-facing live stream allows people who love what typewriter poets do, are curious about what we do and why, learn more about our creative lives. This also gives different typewriter poets an opportunity to chat about their unique approaches to this project and a platform to share any upcoming projects.

What:

For about an hour we’ll get on an IG Live together. QWERT Poetry's Pierce will host and ask several questions. The audience will have a chance to ask questions as well.

GUEST: 

Marshall James Kavanaugh is a Philadelphia-based dream laborer and performance poet. He has performed his poetry at the Philadephia Museum of Art, Barnes Foundation, and the Philadephia International Airport. As a Dream Poet For Hire, Marshall creates stream-of-subconscious inspired poetry on demand for the general public. Equipped with a Smith-Corona Skyriter, he sets up in public spaces around Philadephia and tailors on-the-spot poems on any theme.
